Just wanted to let everyone know that Bella's surgery went well. She woke up very sweetly and w/o too much discomfort. I think I needed sedation more than she did. See, I have a funny thing about eyes, they just creep me out. But I have to sit there while doctors and nurses explain to me about swelling, "bloody tears" (I kid you not), drops, ointment, etc. I think I'll make a full recovery.
Anyway, like I said, she's doing great. Certainly hasn't affected her appetite as she's been eating like a horse since she got home. She goes back for a follow-up tomorrow at 1, and then we pick up Borya and Julia at the airport at 4:30, yay!

Glad Tash is OK. I always think,"just wake, just wake". General is so scary.
FYI I will be stalking for pics of the arrival of "our" kiddos. :)
I'm glad all went well- I have to say I think I might have some recovery time from *bloody tears* too!! I'm glad she's ok!
I can't wait to see pics of your new arrivals! I bet 4:30 can't come soon enough!
glad she (and you) are okay and made it through safe and sound! I'm sure you had an exciting day today too! Looking forward to your update!
I just want to say how happy I am for your family- this is the MOST beautiful story. I pray for your children. You do not know me- but I am an adoptive mother as well and I came across your blog- it has truly touched me. I am preparing for my 2nd adoption as well (maybe from KZ again;))
I have been following your blog for most of the fall and I am so excited for the whole family that you will soon be together. What a blessing it will be to finally tuck Yulia and Borya into their new beds.
Timing is everything, NOT. I'm glad Natasha's eye surgery went well. How many months "problem-free" did you put in for starting on Monday? LOL
